When getting the word out, you may want to consider a newsletter or short broadcast. Here is a sample script we found to be successful. Just fill in your event’s name and the community that you are seeking:
“Do you have questions about (name of ‘Ask A…’ group) … but no one to ask? Are you a (member of the ‘Ask A’… group) eager to tell people about your life? Then why don’t you join us for ‘Ask A (group name),’ a community gathering to meet and talk, learn and understand. It’s coming up on (month and date) at (time of day). If you’re interested, go to (website URL) and fill out the form.”
Remember, this is only a template. You can and should change this format to suit your needs.
